Description

These marinated chicken skewers with bell pepper are an absolute highlight at every barbecue party! I have been making them for years and they are always a hit. The chicken breast fillet is marinated in a spicy marinade of barbecue sauce, mustard and paprika powder, which gives it a delicious taste. Together with the colorful bell pepper pieces, they are not only tasty, but also a real eye-catcher. The preparation is very simple and the skewers can be prepared well in advance. Perfect for a relaxed barbecue evening with friends or family!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 600 g Chicken breast fillet
  • 100 g Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Medium-hot mustard
  • 1 tsp Paprika powder (sweet)
  • 4 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 2 piece Bell pepper (yellow)

Prepare marinade

Thermomix® Setting

Put barbecue sauce, mustard and paprika powder into the mixing bowl and stir for 10 sec./speed 3.

Marinate chicken

Cut chicken breast fillets into approx. 16 equally sized pieces. Add the prepared marinade and sunflower oil to the pieces of meat and mix well. The meat should be completely covered with the marinade.

Prepare bell pepper

Wash, quarter, core and cut the bell pepper into pieces that are about the same size as the pieces of meat.

Assemble skewers

Thread the meat and bell pepper alternately onto 4 skewers. Refrigerate until grilling.

Grill skewers

Preheat grill and grill the skewers over medium heat, possibly on the edge of the grill, on all sides for about 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
