Description

Marinated salmon with dill-mustard dip is a festive finger food that is easy to prepare with the Thermomix®. The main ingredients are salmon fillet, lemon, gin, mustard seeds, and dill.   • 1 EL black pepper
  • 1 EL mustard seeds
  • 1 EL fennel seeds
  • 100 g sugar
  • 150 g salt
  • 1 Stück lemon (zest)
  • 400 g salmon fillet
  • 4 cl Gin
  • 1 Bund fresh dill
  • 150 g Creme Fraiche
  • 3 EL Mustard
  • 3 EL honey
  • 1 EL lemon juice

Prepare spice mixture

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 10, 10 sec/Speed 3

Place 1 tbsp black pepper, 1 tbsp mustard seeds, and 1 tbsp fennel seeds in the mixing bowl and chop for 10 sec/speed 10. Then add 100 g sugar, 150 g salt, and the zest of one lemon and mix for 10 sec/speed 3.

Marinate salmon

Place 400 g salmon fillet on a baking sheet and drizzle with 4 cl Gin. Spread the spice mixture from the mixing bowl evenly over the salmon fillet. Finely chop half a bunch of fresh dill and sprinkle over the salmon. Cover the salmon fillet, preferably weigh it down slightly, and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours.

Prepare dill-mustard dip

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Place 150 g Creme Fraiche, 3 tbsp mustard, 3 tbsp honey, and 1 tbsp lemon juice in the mixing bowl. Finely chop the remaining dill and add. Stir for 20 sec/speed 3. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve salmon

Remove some of the marinade from the salmon and slice the salmon fillet into thin slices. Serve with the dill-mustard dip.
