Description
Delicious marzipan cookies with almonds, perfect for Christmas.
Ingredients (10 ingredients)

200 g Marzipan raw material
-
75 g Icing sugar
-
100 g Wheat flour Type 405
-
100 g Ground almonds
-
1 Stück Egg (room temperature)

1 TL Cinnamon
-
1 EL Amaretto
-
1 Prise(n) Salt

1 Stück Egg yolk
-
2 EL Chopped almonds
Preparation (4 steps)
Prepare dough
Add 200 g marzipan raw material in pieces to the mixing bowl. Add 75 g icing sugar, 100 g wheat flour type 405, 100 g ground almonds, 1 egg (room temperature), 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp Amaretto and 1 pinch of salt. Knead the dough for 2 min./knead setting to a smooth dough.
Shape cookies
Remove the dough from the mixing bowl and shape it into a roll with your hands. Take small portions of the dough and form into balls. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper with some space in between and flatten slightly.
Brush and sprinkle cookies
Whisk 1 egg yolk and brush the marzipan cookies with it. Sprinkle 2 tbsp chopped almonds over it.
Bake cookies
Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 170 °C top and bottom heat for 10-15 minutes.
