Description

Delicious milk rolls, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 250 g Milk
  • 80 g Butter
  • 25 g Sugar
  • 15 g Yeast
  • 500 g Wheat flour 405
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • 1 Stück Egg yolk
  • 1 EL Milk

Dissolve milk, butter, sugar and yeast

Add milk, butter and sugar to the mixing bowl and heat for 2 min./37°C/speed 2. Add yeast and mix for 10 sec./speed 3.

Knead the remaining ingredients

Add wheat flour and salt and knead for 3 min./kneading setting to form a dough.

Let the dough rest

Place the dough in a bowl and let it rest, covered, in a warm place for 1.5 hours.

Portion and shape the dough

Divide the dough into 9 equal parts and fold and shape into rolls.

Let the rolls rest and preheat the oven

Place the rolls in a loaf pan, put the lid on and let rest for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat.

Brush and bake the rolls

Remove the lid! For the glaze, add egg yolk and milk to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./speed 3. Brush the rolls with the glaze and bake for 25-30 minutes. (If you like it light, add aluminum foil after 15 minutes)

Let the rolls cool down

Let the finished rolls cool on a wire rack.
