Description

These mini puffy pizzas are perfect for a delicious aperitif or a tasty snack! Preparing them is child's play and they will appeal to young and old alike. The puff pastry base makes them light and crispy, while the tomato and stringy mozzarella topping makes them irresistible. I often prepare them when I have unexpected guests or for an informal buffet. They can be customized with other ingredients such as olives, capers or cooked ham. Try them, they are a real delight!

Ingredients (3 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Round puff pastry
  • Tomato sauce
  • Pizza mozzarella

Preparation (5 steps)

Puff pastry prepare

Roll out the round puff pastry on a work surface. With a 6 cm diameter pastry cutter, make 22 discs. If the scraps are re-kneaded, rolling them out, up to 10 more discs can be obtained. Arrange the discs on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Season the pizzas

On each puff pastry disc, put a teaspoon of tomato sauce, spreading it evenly.

Initial cooking

Arrange the pizzas in the basket of the air fryer equipped with a grill and covered with baking paper. Cook at 180°C for 8 minutes.

Add the mozzarella

Remove the air fryer basket. Put the diced pizza mozzarella on each disc.

Final cooking

Continue cooking in the air fryer at 180°C for another 2 minutes, until the mozzarella has melted and browned.
