Description

These mini quail egg skewers are an explosion of flavor in every bite. Ideal for a party, a special dinner or simply as an original and fun appetizer. The combination of quail egg with cheese, sausage and the sweet touch of cherry tomatoes is simply delicious. The spicy pink sauce gives it the perfect finishing touch. Prepare them in the blink of an eye with your Thermomix®! They are very easy to make and always triumph. You can vary the ingredients to your liking, using ham, olives or whatever you like best. Go ahead and try them!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 10 piece Quail eggs
  • 2 lonchas Gouda cheese
  • 2 rebanadas Sausage
  • 5 piece Cherry tomato
  • 2 cucharadas soperas Ketchup sauce
  • 1 cucharada sopera Mayonnaise
  • 0.5 tsp Hot sauce
  • 1 pinch Dried oregano

Cook the quail eggs

Thermomix® Setting

Place 500 ml of water in the Thermomix® bowl. Introduce the quail eggs in the basket and place it inside the bowl. Program 5 Min./Varoma/Speed 1.

Cool and peel the eggs

Remove the basket with the quail eggs and immerse them in cold water with ice to facilitate peeling. Peel the eggs carefully and reserve.

Prepare the ingredients

Cut the Gouda cheese and the sausage into circles of the same size as the quail eggs. You can use a cookie cutter or a lid to facilitate cutting. Cut the cherry tomatoes into thin slices.

Prepare the spicy pink sauce

In the Thermomix® bowl, add 2 tablespoons of ketchup sauce, 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise, ½ teaspoon of hot sauce and 1 pinch of dried oregano. Mix 5 Sec./Speed 3.

Assemble the skewers

Cut the cooked quail eggs in half. Use wooden skewers and assemble the skewers to your liking, placing the egg base and adding the rest of the ingredients in the center. Finish with the other half of the quail egg.

Serve the skewers

Serve the quail egg skewers accompanied by the spicy pink sauce. Enjoy!
