"Creamy Chocolate Mousse with Cinnamon" relies on cream, cinnamon, eggs, sugar, white chocolate for a harmonious aroma. The dish is ready to serve in about 210 minutes.   • 150 ml Cream
  • 0.5 TL Cinnamon
  • 4 Stück Eggs
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 250 g white chocolate
  • 50 ml Milk
  • 1 EL Rum
  • 40 g candied almonds

Preparation (8 steps)

Whip cream with cinnamon until stiff

Add 150 ml cream and 0.5 tsp cinnamon to the mixing bowl. Insert the butterfly and whip for 3 min./speed 3.5 until stiff. Transfer the whipped cream and chill.

Whisk egg whites with sugar until stiff

Separate 4 eggs. Add the egg white and 50 g sugar to the mixing bowl. Insert the butterfly and whip for 3 min./speed 3.5 until stiff. Transfer the egg white and chill.

Melt chocolate

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Put 250 g white chocolate in pieces and 50 ml milk in the mixing bowl. Melt for 5 min./50°C/speed 2. Let the melted chocolate cool slightly.

Stir in egg yolks and rum

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add the 4 egg yolks and 1 tbsp rum to the melted chocolate in the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./speed 3.

Fold in egg whites and cream

Carefully fold the egg white and whipped cream into the chocolate mixture in the mixing bowl using a spatula. Make sure the mixture remains airy.

Cool mousse

Pour the mousse into glasses or a bowl and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

Chop candied almonds

Put 40 g of candied almonds in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5. Alternatively, crush the almonds in a mortar.

Serve mousse

Sprinkle the chilled mousse with the chopped candied almonds and serve.
