Description

This creamy orange mousse from the Thermomix® is a simple and festive dessert with fresh organic oranges, yogurt and low-fat quark.   • 3 Blätter Gelatin
  • 4 piece Organic Oranges
  • 500 g Yogurt (3.5% fat)
  • 200 g Low-fat quark
  • 80 g Sugar
  • 3 Zweig(e) Mint

Prepare gelatin

Soak the gelatin in cold water according to the package instructions. Perform this step without Thermomix.

Grate orange zest

Wash, dry and grate the zest of one orange with a fine grater. Set the grated zest aside. Perform this step without Thermomix.

Prepare orange juice

Juice two oranges. You will need about 150 ml of orange juice. Pour the juice into a saucepan.

Prepare yogurt cream

Add 500 g yogurt, 200 g low-fat quark and 80 g sugar to the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec/speed 4 until creamy.

Dissolve gelatin

Heat the orange juice in a saucepan (do not boil!). Add the squeezed gelatin and dissolve while stirring. Remove the pot from the stove.

Adjust gelatin

Add 3 tablespoons of the yogurt cream to the pot with the gelatin and stir. Perform this step without Thermomix.

Stir in gelatin

Add the gelatin mixture to the mixing bowl with the remaining yogurt cream and stir for 10 sec/speed 3.

Fold in orange zest

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/keine/Speed 2 Reverse

Add the grated orange zest to the mixing bowl and fold in for 5 sec/reverse/speed 2.

Fill and chill mousse

Pour the orange mousse into four dessert glasses and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Perform this step without Thermomix.

Prepare orange fillets

Peel and fillet the remaining oranges. Perform this step without Thermomix.

Arrange

Wash and shake the mint dry. Arrange the cream with orange fillets and mint leaves. Perform this step without Thermomix.
