Description

Festive crunchy granola from the Thermomix® with rolled oats, almonds, pistachios, honey and gingerbread spice. This Christmas recipe from the confectionery category is vegetarian and ideal as a healthy breakfast or festive snack. Prepared in just 30 minutes, it yields 10 servings. Perfect for the winter season and as a delicious addition to the breakfast table.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 200 g Rolled oats, coarse
  • 1 EL Gingerbread spice
  • 100 g Almonds, chopped
  • 50 g Pistachios
  • 3.5 EL Honey
  • 5 EL Sunflower oil
  • 100 g Cranberries, dried
  • 100 g Shredded chocolate, bittersweet

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare nuts

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 5

Add 100 g chopped almonds and 50 g pistachios to the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5. If necessary, use the spatula to push down from the edge and repeat the process until the desired consistency is reached.

Mix dry ingredients

10 sec/Speed 3

Add 200 g rolled oats (coarse) and 1 tbsp gingerbread spice to the chopped nuts in the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./speed 3.

Add liquid ingredients

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add 3.5 tbsp honey and 5 tbsp sunflower oil to the mixing bowl and stir in for 20 sec./speed 3 until all ingredients are well mixed. If necessary, use the spatula to help.

Bake granola

Preheat the oven to 160 °C convection. Transfer the granola mixture from the mixing bowl to a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread evenly. Bake for approx. 20 minutes, stirring the granola on the baking sheet halfway through and continuing to bake.

Refine granola

Let the baked granola cool completely. Then carefully fold in 100 g dried cranberries and 100 g bittersweet shredded chocolate.
