Description

These honey and lemon chicken thighs are a delicious second course that is easy to prepare with the Thermomix®. The sweet and sour marinade makes the meat tender and flavorful, perfect for a family lunch or informal dinner. I often prepare them when I have little time but still want to bring something tasty to the table. The scent of rosemary and thyme goes perfectly with the sweetness of honey and the acidity of lemon. Serve them with a side of fresh vegetables for a complete and balanced meal. A real comfort food!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 6 piece chicken thighs
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp grated cheese
  • dried rosemary
  • dried thyme
  • sweet paprika
  • fine salt

Preparation (4 steps)

Marinade preparation

In the Thermomix bowl, pour 30 ml of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of honey, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 clove of minced garlic, dried rosemary to taste, dried thyme to taste, sweet paprika to taste, 2 tablespoons of grated cheese and fine salt to taste.

Chicken marinade

Pour the marinade into a bowl and place the 6 chicken thighs in it, making sure they are well covered. Leave to marinate for about 10 minutes.

Chicken cooking

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Arrange the marinated chicken thighs in the basket lined with baking paper, making sure they are arranged in a single layer without overlapping. Place the basket inside the Varoma. Pour 500 ml of water into the bowl.

Control and final cooking

5 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Check that the chicken thighs are golden brown and completely cooked inside. If necessary, extend the cooking for another 5 minutes at Varoma/Stufe 1.
