Description

A classic of Italian cuisine, roasted chicken thighs with rosemary potatoes are a simple but flavorful dish. I often prepare them with my Thermomix® for a family dinner, because it allows me to season the potatoes evenly and obtain a perfect cooking. The scent of fresh rosemary is released during cooking, making this dish irresistible. Ideal for a Sunday lunch or an informal dinner, chicken thighs and potatoes are a winning combination that everyone always likes. A tip? Serve them with a side of fresh seasonal vegetables!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 4 piece chicken drumsticks
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 q.b. fine salt
  • 1 q.b. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 q.b. rosemary

Preparation (6 steps)

Chicken preparation

Season the chicken drumsticks with fine salt and finely chopped fresh rosemary on both sides. Massage the meat well to allow the flavors to penetrate. Leave to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Potato preparation

Wash, peel and wedge the potatoes. Place the wedged potatoes, 2 cloves of garlic, fine salt, chopped rosemary and extra virgin olive oil in the bowl. Mix for 20 Sec./Stufe 4 to season the potatoes evenly.

Arrangement in the pan

Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Arrange the chicken drumsticks and seasoned potatoes in the pan, distributing them evenly. Add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil to the meat as well.

Baking in the oven

Bake in a preheated ventilated oven at 185°C for about 60 minutes.

Turn the chicken halfway through cooking

After 30 minutes, about halfway through cooking, remove the pan from the oven and turn the chicken thighs to ensure even cooking. Return to the oven and finish cooking for another 30 minutes.

Serve

Once the chicken drumsticks with potatoes are ready, crispy and juicy, bring them to the table still hot!
