Description

This scrambled egg and cheese sandwich is a simple and delicious recipe, perfect for a quick breakfast or an impromptu brunch. The combination of creamy egg with melted fresh cheese between two slices of toasted bread is simply irresistible. I often prepare it when I have little time, but I want something nutritious and tasty. It is made in the blink of an eye, and it is always a success! You can add your favorite spices to give it a personal touch. Go ahead and try it, you'll love it!

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 2 piece eggs
  • 60 gramos fresh cheese
  • 2 slice bread
  • 25 mililitros skimmed milk

Preparation (8 steps)

Mix the eggs with the milk

Thermomix® Setting

In the Thermomix bowl, add 2 eggs, 25 ml of skimmed milk, salt, pepper and garlic to taste. Mix for 10 seconds at speed 4.

Cook the egg in the pan

Heat a non-stick frying pan with a drizzle of vegetable oil over medium-low heat. Pour the egg preparation from the Thermomix into the hot frying pan.

Add the bread

Add the two slices of bread facing each other on the egg in the pan, while the egg is not yet fully set.

Turn the sandwich over

Using a spatula, turn the sandwich over in the pan, keeping the heat on medium-low.

Add the cheese and fold the sandwich

Add 60 grams of fresh cheese cut into 2 portions over the egg. Fold the outer edges of the egg over the bread and, in turn, one bread over the other.

Brown the sandwich on one side

Keep the sandwich in the pan on one side for 1 minute or until the bread is golden brown.

Brown the sandwich on the other side

Turn the sandwich over to brown on the other side.

Serve

Serve the sandwich hot and enjoy it with the melted cheese.
