50 g Cornstarch
Preparation (8 steps)
Prepare Orange
Wash the organic orange with hot water and dry thoroughly.
Grate Orange Zest
Grate the zest of the dried orange and set aside.
Sift and Mix Powdered Sugar
Sift 50 g powdered sugar into the mixing bowl. Add 120 ml sunflower oil and the grated orange zest and mix for 20 sec/speed 3.
Mix Flour and Starch
Sift 200 g wheat flour type 405 and 50 g cornstarch into the mixing bowl and stir in for 30 sec/speed 4. If necessary, scrape down the sides with the spatula.
Knead Dough
Knead the dough for 1 min/kneading stage. If the dough is too dry, add a little more oil, a tablespoon at a time, and knead again.
Shape Dough
Preheat the oven to 170 °C top/bottom heat. Form small balls from the dough, flatten them slightly and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Bake Cookies
Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes. They should not turn brown.
Dust Cookies
Let the cookies cool slightly and dust with the remaining powdered sugar (50 g) while still warm.
