Description

This Thermomix® recipe for Mom's butter cookies is a classic for the Christmas season. The main ingredients are butter, sugar, egg yolks, lemon and flour. Preparation with the Thermomix® takes about 30 minutes and yields a large portion of cookies. Ideal as finger food, dessert or for festive occasions. The recipe is also suitable for use with the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2.

250 g Butter
250 g Sugar
7 Stück Egg yolk
0.5 Stück Lemon (zest)
500 g Flour
1 Msp. Bakers ammonia

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare dough

Put butter, sugar, egg yolk, lemon zest and flour into the mixing bowl and process for 2 min./kneading stage to form a dough.

Add bakers ammonia to the dough and stir in for 30 sec./speed 3.

Let the dough rest

Let the dough rest covered in the refrigerator overnight.

Shape and bake cookies

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and cut out any shapes you like with cookie cutters. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for about 10-12 minutes.
