Description

This oatmeal quark bread is a great recipe for those who like it uncomplicated and high in protein. I like to bake it when I don't have time to stand in the kitchen for a long time. It is super juicy and keeps you full for a long time. The quark gives it a great consistency and the oatmeal provides a hearty taste. Perfect for breakfast or as a side dish for dinner. If you like, you can add some sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds to the dough. A real all-rounder!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 250 g delicate oatmeal
  • 250 g low-fat quark
  • 2 piece Eggs (size M)
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp Salt

Preparation (5 steps)

Grind oatmeal

Place 250 g delicate oatmeal into the mixing bowl and grind for 10 sec/speed 10.

Prepare dough

20 sec/Speed 4

Add 250 g low-fat quark, 2 eggs (size M), 1 tsp baking soda and ½ tsp salt to the ground oatmeal in the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec/speed 4.

Let dough rest

Transfer the dough from the mixing bowl to a bowl and let it rest for 5-10 minutes so that the oatmeal can swell.

Form bread

With moistened hands, form the dough into a round loaf of bread. If desired, cut the surface with a sharp knife and sprinkle with oatmeal.

Bake bread

Spray or brush the grate of the air fryer drawer with oil, place the loaf of bread inside and bake at 170 °C for 30 minutes. Turn the bread after 20 minutes and finish baking.
