Description

These baked potatoes in foil are a wonderfully uncomplicated dish that is perfect as a side dish or as a simple meal. I often make them when I have little time but still want to put something hearty on the table. The potatoes become wonderfully soft and aromatic from baking in the foil. With a little olive oil, salt and pepper, they are simply irresistible. They are ideal for a cozy evening or as a complement to grilled food. If you like, you can refine them with herbal quark or sour cream after baking. A true classic that always works!

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 4 piece large potatoes - floury
  • 4 tsp Olive oil - refined
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Preparation (4 steps)

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 220°C top and bottom heat. Prepare sufficiently large pieces of aluminum foil (4 squares) for wrapping the potatoes.

Prepare potatoes

Wash the potatoes thoroughly and pat dry with a kitchen towel. Then prick the potatoes several times with a fork.

Season potatoes

Place the prepared potatoes on the pieces of aluminum foil. Brush each potato with 1 teaspoon of olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Wrap and bake potatoes

Wrap the potatoes tightly in the aluminum foil so that they are completely enclosed. Bake the wrapped potatoes on the middle shelf in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes.
