Description

This homemade pizza dough recipe is a classic that never fails. With simple ingredients and a little patience, you will obtain an elastic and delicious dough, perfect for any type of pizza. Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 415 g Strong flour
  • 8 g Salt
  • 270 g Water
  • 14 g Dry baker's yeast
  • 5 g Sugar
  • 25 g Extra virgin olive oil
  • Semolina for sprinkling

Mix dry ingredients

Add 415 g of strong flour and 8 g of salt to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 5 seconds/Speed 4.

Activate the yeast

In a separate bowl, combine 14 g of dry baker's yeast and 5 g of sugar with 270 g of water at 18°C. Stir until dissolved.

Add liquid ingredients

Pour the yeast mixture into the Thermomix bowl with the flour and salt. Mix for 20 seconds/Speed 4.

Knead with oil

Add 25 g of extra virgin olive oil to the bowl. Knead for 3 minutes/Knead function.

First rise

Remove the dough from the bowl, form a ball and place it in a bowl with a lid greased with oil. Let it ferment for 3 hours at room temperature.

Divide and form the portions

After the fermentation time, place the dough on a floured surface and gently degas. Divide the dough into three portions of approximately 230 g each. Form balls and let stand for 10 minutes.

Shape the pizza

Stretch each ball of dough with your hands or a rolling pin until you get a circle of approximately 30 cm in diameter and a thickness of 3-4 mm.

Second rise (optional)

For a thicker and fluffier dough, let the dough disc ferment for 35-40 minutes.

Bake the pizza

Preheat the oven to 220-250°C. Cover the dough with the desired ingredients and bake for 10-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
