Description

Stuffed bell peppers with ground meat is a protein-rich main course that is easy to prepare with the Thermomix®. The main ingredients are bell peppers, mixed ground meat, onions, garlic, and feta cheese. The recipe is ideal for a hearty, Mediterranean cuisine and is suitable as a family meal. The preparation time is about 60 minutes for 4 servings.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 2 Zehen Garlic
  • 4 Stück Bell peppers
  • 400 g mixed ground meat
  • 1 Stück Egg
  • 150 g Feta
  • 2 EL Oregano
  • 1 EL Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 0.5 TL Pepper
  • 400 g Tomato sauce

Preparation (4 steps)

Chop onion and garlic

Peel and halve 1 onion and place it in the mixing bowl with 2 cloves of garlic, then chop for 3 sec./Stufe 5. If necessary, scrape down the sides with the spatula.

Prepare ground meat mixture

Wash 4 bell peppers, cut off the tops and remove the core. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix 400 g mixed ground meat, 1 egg, 150 g crumbled feta, the chopped onion and garlic from the mixing bowl, 2 tbsp oregano, 1 tbsp sweet paprika powder, 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper.

Fill the peppers

Fill the prepared bell peppers with the ground meat mixture.

Cook peppers in the air fryer

Place the stuffed bell peppers in the frying basket of the air fryer. Pour 400 g of tomato sauce over the peppers and put the lids on. Bake the bell peppers in the air fryer at 170 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
