Description

Delicious marzipan biscuits with almonds, perfect for Christmas!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 200 g Marzipan raw material
  • 75 g Icing sugar
  • 100 g Wheat flour Type 405
  • 100 g Ground almonds
  • 1 Stück Egg (room temperature)
  • 1 TL Cinnamon
  • 1 EL Amaretto
  • 1 Prise(n) Salt
  • 1 Stück Egg yolk
  • 2 EL Chopped almonds

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Put 200 g marzipan raw material in pieces into the mixing bowl. Add 75 g icing sugar, 100 g wheat flour type 405, 100 g ground almonds, 1 egg (room temperature), 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp Amaretto and 1 pinch of salt. Knead the dough for 2 min./kneading stage to a smooth dough.

Shape biscuits

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl and form into a roll with your hands. Take small portions of the dough and form into balls. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper at a little distance and flatten slightly.

Brush and sprinkle biscuits

Whisk 1 egg yolk and brush the marzipan biscuits with it. Sprinkle 2 tbsp chopped almonds over it.

Bake biscuits

Bake the biscuits in a preheated oven at 170 °C top and bottom heat for 10-15 minutes.
