Description
These Christmas little piles, prepared in the Thermomix®, are a delicious tea biscuit with almonds and currants. The recipe uses margarine, sugar, egg yolk and flour as the main ingredients. Preparation takes about 60 minutes and yields a larger portion of cookies. Ideal for the festive season and as finger food with coffee or tea.

200 g Margarine

125 g Sugar

2 Stück Egg yolk

1 EL Coffee cream

1 Päckchen Vanilla sugar

250 g Flour
-
80 g chopped Almonds
-
50 g Currants
-
25 g Candied orange peel or Candied lemon peel

1 Stück Lemon (zest)
Preparation (5 steps)
Prepare dough
Put margarine, sugar, egg yolk, coffee cream and vanilla sugar into the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min./speed 4.
Add flour and remaining ingredients
Add flour, chopped almonds, currants, candied orange peel or candied lemon peel and lemon zest to the mixing bowl and process into a dough for 2 min./kneading setting.
Process dough
Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, knead and roll it out.
Form balls
and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper with sufficient space.
Bake cookies
Bake the cookies in the oven at approx. 200 degrees until visible.
