Description

This recipe for chicken breast in Dijon mustard marinade is a real treat! I like to make it when I need something quick, but still want something special on the table. The marinade with Dijon mustard, lemon juice and a touch of chili gives the chicken a wonderfully spicy note. I especially like the fresh lemon zest, which gives the dish a fruity freshness. The preparation is very simple and the marinating time ensures that the chicken becomes particularly tender and juicy. Served with fresh vegetables, it is a light yet filling dish that is perfect for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 4 g Chicken breast
  • 1 gousse(s) Minced garlic
  • Chili pepper
  • 3 c. à table Dijon mustard
  • 1 c. à table Lemon juice
  • 1 c. à thé Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 c. à thé Lemon zest
  • 2 c. à table Vegetable oil
  • 1 pincée(s) Pepper

Preparation (5 steps)

Chop garlic

Put the garlic clove in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 7. If necessary, scrape down the sides with the spatula.

Prepare marinade

Add the chopped garlic, chili, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, lemon zest, vegetable oil and pepper to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./speed 3.

Marinate chicken breast

Place the chicken breast in a container and pour the marinade over it. Turn several times so that the chicken breast is completely covered with the marinade. Cover the container and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 to 6 hours.

Fry chicken breast

Heat a grill pan with some vegetable oil. Fry the marinated chicken breast in it for 10 minutes on each side, then turn again and fry for another 10 minutes until cooked through and golden brown. Be careful not to burn the chicken.

Season and serve

Season the fried chicken breast with salt and pepper and serve with fresh vegetables.
