Add milk, buttermilk, and yeast to the mixing bowl and heat for 2.5 min./37°C/speed 2.

Prepare dough

Add baking powder, eggs, oil, margarine and flour and knead into a dough for 5 min./kneading stage.

Let dough rise

Place the finished dough in a floured bowl and let it rise, covered, for 30 minutes.

Cook potatoes

Add water to the mixing bowl, insert the simmering basket, weigh in the potatoes and cook for 25 min./Varoma/speed 1.

Keep potatoes warm

Keep the potatoes warm and pour away the cooking liquid.

Chop onions

Put onions in the mixing bowl and chop for 6 sec./speed 6, scraping everything down from the edge of the mixing bowl with the spatula.

Sauté onions

Add butter and sauté for 5 min./Varoma/speed 1.

Prepare filling

Add the cooked potatoes and salt to the mixing bowl and mix for 4 sec./speed 6, transfer and let cool.

Prepare dough

Oil the work surface, place the dough on it and divide into two parts.

Shape piroshki

Form 13 small balls from each of the two parts with oiled hands, flatten them and then place one tbsp of filling in the middle of each.

Close piroshki

Fold both sides together and press the edge together well, flatten slightly and place on an oiled surface with the seam facing down.

Fry piroshki

Put plenty of oil in the pan so that the piroshki are half covered. Place in the hot oil with the seam facing down and fry over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
