Description

This pistachio cream tiramisu is an absolute eye-catcher and tastes simply heavenly! I especially like to make it when guests come, because it can be prepared wonderfully and still looks really elegant. The combination of creamy mascarpone, quark and the nutty aroma of pistachios is simply unbeatable. A dash of Amaretto provides that certain something. Enjoy!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 100 g Pistachio kernels (shelled)
  • 100 ml Espresso
  • 500 g Quark (40% fat)
  • 150 g Pistachio cream
  • 500 g Mascarpone
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Amaretto
  • 180 g Ladyfingers

Preparation (7 steps)

Roast pistachios

Roast 100 g of pistachio kernels in a pan without fat until golden yellow and then let them cool. Please perform this step outside of the Thermomix.

Prepare espresso

Cook 100 ml of espresso and let it cool. Please perform this step outside of the Thermomix.

Chop pistachios

Put the roasted pistachios in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Transfer and set aside.

Prepare cream

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/Speed 3

Put 500 g of quark, 150 g of pistachio cream, 500 g of mascarpone and 50 g of sugar in the mixing bowl. Insert the butterfly and stir for 3 min./speed 3.

Prepare espresso mixture

Mix 100 ml espresso and 2 tbsp Amaretto in a small bowl. Please perform this step outside of the Thermomix.

Layer tiramisu

Line a baking dish with half of the 180 g ladyfingers, sprinkle with half of the espresso mix and then spread half of the cream on top. Sprinkle with about 2-3 tbsp of the chopped pistachios. Place the remaining ladyfingers on top, soak again with espresso mix and spread the remaining cream on top.

Cool tiramisu

Place the pistachio tiramisu in the refrigerator and let it soak, covered, for at least 2 hours. Before serving, sprinkle with the remaining chopped pistachios. Please perform this step outside of the Thermomix.
