Description

This low-carb tuna pizza with vegetables from the Thermomix® is a high-protein and gluten-free main course for light cuisine. Tuna, eggs, bell pepper and onion form the basis for this Mediterranean pizza. Prepared in approx. 50 minutes, the recipe yields 2 servings. Ideal for a quick, healthy family meal or after a workout.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 260 g Tuna in own juice (drained weight)
  • 2 Stück Eggs (size M)
  • 200 ml Pizza sauce
  • 1 Stück small red Onion
  • 1 Stück yellow Bell pepper
  • 10 Stück black Olives
  • 80 g grated Mozzarella
  • Basil for garnish

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare tuna

Drain the tuna well from the cans and squeeze out the liquid. This is important so that the dough does not become too moist.

Mix tuna and eggs

Place the drained tuna and eggs in the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 4. Use the spatula to push down from the edge and, if necessary, mix again for 5 sec/speed 4.

Shape and pre-bake pizza dough

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat. Place two round pizza dough patties made from the tuna-egg mixture on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for 15 minutes.

Prepare onion and bell pepper

Halve the red onion and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec/speed 5. Remove the chopped onion from the mixing bowl and cut into rings. Cut the yellow bell pepper into strips. Halve the olives.

Top and bake pizza

Spread the pre-baked dough patties with pizza sauce and top with onions, bell peppers, olives and grated mozzarella. Then bake the pizzas in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

Serve

Cut the finished low-carb pizza with tuna into pieces and serve garnished with fresh basil.
