Description

This low-carb quark pizza with vegetable topping is prepared in the Thermomix® and is a healthy, gluten-free alternative to classic pizza. The main ingredients are low-fat quark, eggs and grated cheese. Topped with pizza sauce, oregano and cherry tomatoes, this is a Mediterranean main course or finger food. The preparation time is 42 minutes for 2 portions and is ideal for light cuisine or as a family meal.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 250 g Low-fat quark
  • 3 Stück Eggs
  • 150 g Grated cheese
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • 200 ml Pizza sauce
  • 1 TL Oregano
  • 150 g Cherry tomatoes
  • 80 g Grated mozzarella
  • Basil

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting

Add 250 g low-fat quark, 3 eggs, 150 g grated cheese, salt and pepper to the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec/level 4.

Shape and pre-bake pizzas

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat. Remove the dough from the mixing bowl and form into 2 pizzas on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the pizzas in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Prepare tomatoes

While the pizzas are pre-baking, halve 150 g of cherry tomatoes.

Top pizzas

Carefully turn the pre-baked pizza bases. Spread 200 ml pizza sauce on the base and season with 1 tsp oregano. Then top with the halved tomatoes and 80 g grated mozzarella.

Finish baking pizzas

Bake the topped pizzas in the oven for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and lightly browned.

Serve

Quarter the finished low carb pizzas and garnish with fresh basil.
