Description

This pizza with cheese stuffed crust is a delight that I often prepare at home. The dough, made with flour, honey and yeast, is spongy and has a slightly sweet taste that contrasts perfectly with the cheese. The stuffed crust, seasoned with oil and chimichurri, gives it a special and tasty touch. It is perfect for an informal dinner with friends or to celebrate a birthday. Go ahead and try it, you will love it! You can vary the filling of the crust with your favorite spices.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 200 gramos 000 flour
  • 1 cucharadita honey
  • 0.5 cucharadita powdered yeast
  • 150 centímetros cúbicos warm water
  • 60 gramos fresh cheese
  • 1 cucharadita olive oil
  • 1 cucharadita chimichurri

Prepare the dough

Thermomix® Setting

Place 200 grams of 000 flour, 1 teaspoon of honey and ½ teaspoon of powdered yeast in the Thermomix bowl. Add 150 cubic centimeters of warm water. Mix 2 Min./Knead stage.

Let the dough rise

Remove the dough from the bowl, form a ball and place it in a bowl. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30-40 minutes or until doubled in volume.

Prepare the cheese filling

While the dough is rising, cut 60 grams of fresh cheese into strips. In a bowl, mix the cheese strips with 1 teaspoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of chimichurri. Mix well.

Stretch the dough and place the cheese

When the dough has risen, stretch it on a baking sheet previously sprayed with vegetable oil or spread with 1 teaspoon of oil. Spread the dough from the center outwards with your fingers or knuckles, shaping it into a pizza. Place the cheese strips along the entire edge.

Seal the cheese crust

Enclose the cheese in the edge of the pizza with slightly damp fingers to seal it.

Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to maximum (approximately 200 ºC).

Bake the pizza (first part)

Cover the pizza with a tea towel or store it in a bag for 10-15 minutes to let it rise a little again. Bake on the base of the oven for approximately 5 minutes.

Add the topping and bake (second part)

Add the desired topping to the pizza. Bake for 10-15 more minutes, or until the crust is crispy and the edges golden brown.
