Description

This Brussels sprout meatloaf pan is a hearty main course that is quick and easy to prepare. With Brussels sprouts, meatloaf, onions and garlic, it is a hearty dish for the cold season. Preparation in the Thermomix® saves time and effort. Ideal for a quick lunch or dinner for two.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts
  • 250 g Meatloaf
  • 1 Stück Onion, small
  • 1 Zehe Garlic
  • 1 EL Oil
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 1 TL Mustard
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • nach Geschmack Nutmeg

Preparation (8 steps)

Chop onion and garlic

Put 1 small peeled and quartered onion and 1 clove of garlic into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 seconds/speed 5. If necessary, use the spatula to push down from the edge.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the chopped onions and garlic in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 minutes/120°C/speed 1.

Prepare Brussels sprouts

In the meantime, clean, halve or quarter 500 g of Brussels sprouts (depending on their size).

Add and sauté Brussels sprouts

Put the prepared Brussels sprouts (500 g) into the mixing bowl and sauté for 5 minutes/120°C/reverse rotation speed 1.

Add vegetable broth and cream

Add 100 ml of vegetable broth and 100 ml of cream to the mixing bowl and cook for 10 minutes/100°C/reverse rotation speed 1.

Fry meatloaf

While the Brussels sprouts are cooking, cut 250 g of meatloaf into cubes and fry in a separate pan with some oil until lightly browned.

Add meatloaf and mustard

Add the fried meatloaf (250 g) and 1 teaspoon of mustard to the mixing bowl and heat for 2 minutes/90°C/reverse rotation speed 1.

Season the Brussels sprout meatloaf pan with salt, pepper and nutmeg and serve immediately.
