Description

Brussels sprouts in cream cheese mustard sauce is a hearty and vegetarian main course that is quick to prepare with the Thermomix®. The main ingredients are Brussels sprouts, cream cheese and mustard. Preparation takes about 30 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal for quick, inexpensive cooking and Brussels sprouts lovers.

  • 500 g Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 1 EL Oil
  • 200 ml Vegetable Broth
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 2 EL Mustard
  • 150 g Cream Cheese
  • 0.5 TL Salt
  • 0.25 TL Pepper
  • 1 Prise Nutmeg

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop onion

Peel, halve the onion and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Add oil and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Prepare Brussels sprouts

In the meantime, clean, halve or quarter the Brussels sprouts (depending on size) and set aside.

Add Brussels sprouts, vegetable broth and cream

Add Brussels sprouts, vegetable broth and cream to the mixing bowl. Cook for 15 min./100°C/reverse rotation speed 1.

Season and add cream cheese

3 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 2 194°F Reverse

Add mustard, cream cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg and stir in for 3 min./90°C/reverse rotation speed 2.
