Description

This Spätzle pan with chicken and vegetables is a quick and easy dish for everyday life. It's mainly prepared in the Thermomix®, saving time and effort. Ideal for students or anyone looking for a simple meal. The dish is hearty, filling, and ready in about 30 minutes.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 400 g Fresh egg Spätzle
  • 500 g Chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 1 Stange/n Leek
  • 2 Carrot(s)
  • 1 EL Vegetable oil
  • 1 TL Tomato paste
  • 1 EL Sambal Oelek
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 250 ml Chicken stock
  • 3 EL Gouda grated
  • Salt and pepper freshly ground
  • 1 EL Parsley chopped

Preparation (9 steps)

Prepare leek and carrots

Clean the leek, halve lengthwise and cut into fine rings. Peel the carrots and cut into slices. Set both aside.

Chop vegetables

Put the leek and carrots into the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 4. If necessary, use the spatula to push down from the edge.

Sauté vegetables

Add the vegetable oil and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add tomato paste and Sambal Oelek and sauté for 1 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add liquids

Add cream and chicken stock to the mixing bowl and cook for 5 min./100°C/speed 1.

Fry chicken

Cut the chicken breast fillet into bite-sized pieces. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the chicken in it until cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.

Add Spätzle and chicken

Add the Spätzle and the fried chicken to the mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper and heat for 5 min./100°C/Reverse speed 1.

Add cheese

Add the grated Gouda and let it melt for 1 min./60°C/Reverse speed 1.

Sprinkle the Spätzle pan with chopped parsley and serve.
