Description

This herb-crusted chicken breast recipe is a simple yet flavorful way to enjoy a classic dish. Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 2 piece large bone-in chicken breast halves with skin
  • 0.25 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp garlic, minced
  • 0.5 tsp coarse sea salt
  • 0.5 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp dried rosemary
  • 0.25 tsp dried basil

Prepare the Garlic

Add ½ teaspoon of minced garlic to the mixing bowl and chop it. 3 Sek./Stufe 7

Marinate the Chicken

Rub the chicken breasts with ¼ cup of olive oil and the chopped garlic from the mixing bowl. Sprinkle with ½ teaspoon of coarse sea salt, ½ teaspoon of cracked black pepper, ¼ teaspoon of dried rosemary, and ¼ teaspoon of dried basil. Arrange the chicken in a large baking dish and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes.

Bake the Chicken

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Bake in the preheated oven until the chicken meat is no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, 45 to 60 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted in the thickest part of the breast meat should read 165 degrees F (75 degrees C).
