Description

This poultry dish with pineapple and peppers is an explosion of exotic flavors! I often prepare it for a sunny Sunday lunch or a quick weeknight dinner. The sweetness of the pineapple pairs wonderfully with the chicken and crispy peppers, all enhanced by a slightly spicy tomato sauce. It's a complete and balanced dish, perfect for the whole family. It can easily be adapted by adding other vegetables such as zucchini or mushrooms. Serve with basmati rice for an even more flavorful meal! A real treat!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Chicken scallop
  • 1 piece Pineapple
  • 1 piece Green pepper
  • 1 piece Red pepper
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 can Tomato paste
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation (8 steps)

Chicken in pieces

Cut the chicken scallops into pieces of about 2-3 cm. Set aside.

Minced onion

Peel the onion, cut it into quarters and put it in the robot's bowl. Finely chop for 3 Sek./Stufe 5.

Diced peppers

Wash and dry the peppers. Remove the seeds and cut them into small dice of about 1 cm. Set aside.

Pineapple in pieces

Peel the pineapple, remove the hard core and cut the flesh into small pieces of about 2 cm. Set aside.

Cooking chicken and vegetables

In a large oiled frying pan, brown the chicken pieces with the minced onion, the diced peppers and the pineapple pieces. Cook until the chicken is browned on all sides.

Adding the tomato sauce

Add the can of tomato paste, a little water (about 100 ml), salt and pepper. Mix well.

Simmering

Pour the mixture into the robot's bowl. Set 60 Min./100°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1. Let simmer covered.
