Description

This crusted striped chicken is an explosion of Mediterranean flavors! Prepared with tender chicken breast, flavorful cooked ham, grated cheese, crunchy breadcrumbs, fragrant lemon zest and fresh rosemary, it is a simple dish but rich in taste. The preparation is quick and the result is a perfect second course for a family dinner or an informal lunch. I love it because it is a delicious way to cook chicken, and the scent of lemon and rosemary makes everything even more inviting. Ideal to serve with a side of fresh vegetables or a mixed salad. A real comfort food!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 800 g chicken slices
  • 5 slice cooked ham
  • 40 g grated cheese
  • 40 g breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 piece lemons _the grated zest_
  • fine salt
  • olive oil
  • rosemary

Preparation (6 steps)

Preparation of the chicken

Cut the slices of chicken breast into thin strips and set them aside.

Preparation of the ham

Cut the slices of cooked ham into strips, the same size as the chicken.

Seasoning the ingredients

Pour the chicken and ham into a bowl. Add fine salt to taste, olive oil to taste and the grated zest of half a lemon. Mix well with your hands.

Adding the aromas

Add a few finely chopped rosemary needles to the bowl and chop for 3 Sec./speed 7.

Final mixing

Pour the chopped rosemary into the bowl with the chicken and ham. Add the grated cheese and breadcrumbs. Mix everything with your hands until the ingredients are evenly distributed.

Baking in the oven

Arrange the strips on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and add a drizzle of olive oil. Bake and cook in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes.
