Description

This five-spice chicken is a dish I often prepare, especially when I crave an exotic and enveloping flavor. Marinating in soy sauce and spices makes the meat tender and juicy, with an irresistible aroma. The preparation is simple, but requires a little patience for marinating and drying, which enhance the flavors to the fullest. Perfect for a family dinner or with friends, it goes well with basmati rice or stir-fried vegetables. A tasty and easy alternative to make!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 4 persone Chicken
  • Soy sauce
  • Water
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 5 spices
  • Salt

Preparation (6 steps)

Preparation of the marinade

Thermomix® Setting

In the bowl, pour the soy sauce and water. Mix for 10 Sec./Level 3.

Marinating the chicken

Divide the chicken into pieces and transfer them into freezer bags, two or three per bag. Pour the water and soy solution into each bag and close with the appropriate ties. Store everything in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

Drying the chicken

After the marinating time, take the chicken, drain it and transfer it to kitchen paper to dry it well.

Flavoring the chicken

Remove the final part of the wings that would burn during cooking, massage the pieces of chicken with the 5 spices and transfer it to a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Final drying

Leave the chicken to dry outside the refrigerator for at least 6 hours.

Baking in the oven

Bake at 200°C and cook for at least 50 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve.
