Description

This roast chicken with peppers is a simple and tasty dish, perfect for a summer dinner. The chicken meat, tender and juicy, goes perfectly with the sweetness of the colorful peppers. I often prepare it when I have little time, but I don't want to give up a healthy and tasty meal. A drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of fresh rosemary enhance the flavors of this dish, making it irresistible. Ideal to serve with a side of baked potatoes or a fresh salad.

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 700 g chicken in pieces
  • 1 pezzi red peppers
  • rosemary
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • fine salt

Preparation (5 steps)

Chicken preparation

700 g of chicken in pieces in a bowl. Add fine salt q.b., rosemary q.b. and extra virgin olive oil q.b..

Season the chicken

Mix with your hands to distribute the seasoning well.

Preparation of the peppers

Cut 1 red pepper into small pieces and put them in a bowl. Season with fine salt q.b..

Cooking the chicken

Thermomix® Setting
35 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Put the seasoned chicken in the Varoma basket. Add 500 ml of water into the mixing bowl. Place the Varoma on the mixing bowl and cook for 35 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.

Adding the peppers

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

After 25 minutes, open the Varoma and add the chopped peppers into the basket, on top of the chicken. Close the Varoma again and continue cooking for another 10 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.
