Description

This roasted chicken with vegetable sauce is a comforting and flavorful dish, perfect for a family meal. The combination of juicy chicken with homemade vegetable sauce is simply delicious.   • 1.25 piece chicken
  • 2 piece carrots
  • 1 piece onion
  • 3 piece peppers
  • 5 clove garlic
  • 3 tbsp tomato
  • 150 ml white wine
  • parsley
  • salt
  • oil
  • water

Preparation of the chicken for roasting

Preheat the oven to 180°C with heat above and below. Place a little water on the bottom of a baking tray to prevent smoke from forming. Set aside.

First baking of the chicken

Place the chicken pieces on the tray and bake for 30 minutes.

Second baking of the chicken

Turn the chicken thighs over, add a little salt and bake for an additional 30 minutes.

Brown the chicken

Raise the oven temperature to 220°C and bake for 10 minutes so that the chicken browns and becomes crispy.

Chop the garlic

Put 5 cloves of garlic into the Thermomix glass and chop for 3 seconds at speed 7.

Sauté the garlic and onion

Add 1 onion cut into quarters to the Thermomix glass and sauté together with the chopped garlic and a little oil for 3 minutes at 120°C at speed 1.

Add and sauté the carrots

Peel and cut 2 carrots into small pieces. Add to the Thermomix glass and sauté for 5 minutes at 120°C at speed 1.

Add and sauté the peppers

Cut 3 peppers into small pieces. Add to the Thermomix glass and sauté for 5 minutes at 120°C at speed 1.

Add the white wine

Thermomix® Setting

Add 150 ml of white wine to the Thermomix glass and program for 3 minutes at Varoma temperature at speed 1, without the measuring cup, so that the alcohol evaporates.

Add the tomato and water

Add 3 tablespoons of tomato and water to the Thermomix glass until the vegetables are covered. Cook for 15 minutes at 100°C at speed 2.

Crush the sauce

Add parsley, salt and oil to taste. Crush the sauce for 30 seconds at speed 10.

Pour the sauce over the roasted chicken tray and serve hot.
