Description

This Moroccan chicken in parchment paper is a tasty and fragrant dish, perfect for a convivial meal. The fresh vegetables and tender chicken are infused with Moroccan spices for a delicious result. I often prepare this dish for family dinners, as it is easy to make and everyone enjoys it. Cooking in parchment paper helps to preserve all the flavors and keep the chicken very moist. A real treat for the taste buds, especially in autumn with seasonal vegetables! Feel free to vary the vegetables according to your desires.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 1 packet Fondant
  • 4 piece Chicken thighs
  • 250 g Potato(es)
  • 200 g Zucchini(s)
  • 1 piece Yellow zucchini
  • 1 piece Carrot(s)
  • 1 piece Onion(s)

Preparation (4 steps)

1

Preparation of the vegetables

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Peel the potatoes, zucchini, yellow zucchini, carrot and onion. Cut the carrot into rounds, the onion into 8 wedges and the rest of the vegetables into 2.5-3cm pieces.

2

Assembly and cooking in parchment paper

Unfold the bag. Place the chicken thighs and prepared vegetables in the bag. Pour in the Moroccan mixture. Close the bag with the fastener provided for this purpose. Shake it gently to coat all the ingredients well.

3

Baking in the oven

Place the bag in an oven dish so that the chicken spreads out in a single layer. Pierce 3 to 4 holes in the surface of the bag with a knife. Bake in the oven for 50 minutes.

4

Rest and service

Let rest for 5 minutes, then carefully remove the fastener. Empty the bag delicately into a serving dish, catching it by the corners. Be careful not to burn yourself with the steam when opening the bag.
