Dieses gewürzte Hähnchen mit Chili und Erdnüssen ist ein echtes Geschmackserlebnis! Die Kombination aus zartem Hähnchen, feurigen Chilis und knackigen Erdnüssen macht dieses Gericht zu einem absoluten Highlight. Ich mache es besonders gerne, wenn es mal etwas Schärferes sein soll. Die Zubereitung ist dank des Thermomix® super einfach und schnell. Perfekt für ein gemütliches Abendessen zu zweit oder als Highlight auf einer Party. Wer es nicht so scharf mag, kann die Menge der Chilis natürlich reduzieren. Ein absolutes Lieblingsrezept!

Ingredients (22 ingredients)

  • 1 tablespoon cooking sherry
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pound boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 0.5 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon garlic chile paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 3 tablespoons oil, divided
  • 0.5 cup dried red chile peppers
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 scallions sliced, white and green parts separated
  • 0.5 cup dry roasted peanuts (Optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, or to taste

Preparation (6 steps)

Marinade vorbereiten

In a bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon cooking sherry, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 2 teaspoons cornstarch, ¼ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper. Add 1 pound boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces, to the marinade and set aside for at least 30 minutes to marinate.

Sauce vorbereiten

In a bowl, combine ½ cup chicken stock, 1 tablespoon garlic chile paste, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon white sugar, and 1 teaspoon cornstarch. Stir until well combined, add 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, and set aside.

Chilis anrösten

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ½ cup dried red chile peppers and cook until they turn dark red, 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Hähnchen anbraten

Add remaining 2 tablespoons oil to the skillet and fry chicken pieces until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper, 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger, 2 cloves garlic, pressed, ½ teaspoon salt, white parts of 2 scallions, sliced, and ½ cup dry roasted peanuts. Fry an additional 1 to 2 minutes.

Sauce hinzufügen und köcheln lassen

Add reserved chiles and sauce to the skillet. Cook and stir until mixture has thickened or desired consistency is reached, about 5 minutes.

Garnieren und servieren

Garnish with additional sesame seeds and green parts of scallions. Serve immediately.
