Description

This white wine stewed chicken with vegetables is a comforting and flavourful dish, perfect for a family meal or a special celebration. The combination of tender chicken with fresh vegetables and the aromatic touch of white wine makes it an unforgettable culinary experience. I often prepare it in autumn and winter, when a hot and nutritious dish is desired. In addition, it is very easy to make with the Thermomix®, which saves me a lot of time in the kitchen.   • 2 piece chicken hindquarters
  • 1 piece onion
  • 0.5 piece red pepper
  • 0.5 piece yellow pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 piece carrot
  • 1 copa white wine
  • 300 centímetros cúbicos chicken broth
  • 100 gramos peas
  • 2 cucharadas soperas cream
  • 1 puñado chopped parsley

Peel the onion and cut it into quarters. Peel the garlic clove. Wash, remove the seeds and veins from the red and yellow peppers, and cut them into large pieces. Peel the carrot and cut it into slices. Put the onion and garlic in the bowl and chop 3 sec./level 5.

Add a splash of oil to the bowl and sauté the vegetables 5 min./120°C/level 1.

Chicken preparation

Meanwhile, separate the legs from the chicken thighs, remove the skin and fat. Season with salt and pepper.

Brown the chicken

In a pan with a little oil, brown the chicken pieces on all sides. Remove and set aside.

Add white wine

Pour the white wine into the bowl and program 2 min./100°C/level 1, without the measuring cup, so that the alcohol evaporates.

Add the chicken broth, ground chili, rosemary, thyme and browned chicken to the bowl. Program 25 min./100°C/Reverse rotation/level 1.

Add the peas and cream to the bowl. Mix 2 min./90°C/Reverse rotation/level 1.

Remove from the bowl and let stand for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
