Description

This hearty Farmer's Pot from the Thermomix® is a savory main course with ground meat, potatoes, and bell peppers. Preparation with the Thermomix® takes about 50 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal for the whole family and lovers of rustic cuisine. The main ingredients are ground meat, potatoes, bell peppers, onions, and canned diced tomatoes. Thanks to the Thermomix®, the preparation is quick and easy.

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 2 Stück Garlic cloves
  • 1 Stück Onion, halved
  • 20 g Oil
  • 500 g Mixed ground meat
  • 2 Stück Red bell peppers, in small pieces
  • 700 g Potatoes, peeled, in small pieces
  • 400 g Diced tomatoes, (canned)
  • 200 g Water
  • 2 TL Vegetable spice paste
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 2 Prisen Pepper
  • 0.5 TL Chili flakes
  • 2 TL Dried herbs of Provence
  • Thyme for garnish

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop onion and garlic

Place 2 garlic cloves and 1 halved onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 4 sec./speed 5. Scrape down the sides with the spatula.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add 20 g oil and sauté for 2 min./120°C/speed 2.

Brown ground meat

Brown 500 g of mixed ground meat in a separate pan.

Add ground meat and bell peppers

Add the browned ground meat to the mixing bowl. Add 2 red bell peppers in small pieces and continue to sauté for 2 min./120°C/Reverse/soft stir setting.

Add remaining ingredients and cook

Add 700 g peeled and diced potatoes, 400 g diced tomatoes (canned), 200 g water, 2 tsp vegetable spice paste, 1 tsp salt, 2 pinches of pepper, 0.5 tsp chili flakes, and 2 tsp dried herbs of Provence and cook everything for 20 min./100°C/Reverse/speed 1.

Season and Serve

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Fill the Farmer's Pot into deep bowls, garnish with thyme sprigs, and serve hot.
