Description

This Basque chicken, a comforting and tasty dish, is a true taste journey to the heart of the Basque Country. I often prepare it for family meals, especially in autumn, when peppers are at their peak. The sweetness of crushed tomatoes, the aroma of garlic and the richness of chicken broth blend perfectly with the tender chicken. It is a simple dish to make, perfect for a friendly and warm dinner. A little white rice as an accompaniment and you're done! This dish is naturally gluten-free and can be adapted for a lactose-free diet by using a suitable chicken broth.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 750 g Chicken
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 6 clove Garlic
  • 1 piece Red pepper
  • 5 cl Olive oil
  • 5 cl White wine
  • 200 g Crushed tomato
  • 25 cl Chicken broth
  • to taste Salt

Vegetable preparation

Peel the onion and garlic cloves. Wash and deseed the red pepper, then cut it into pieces of about 2 cm.

Chop the vegetables
