Description

This devil style roasted chicken with new potatoes is a rustic and flavorful dish, perfect for a family dinner or with friends. The meat, made tender and juicy by baking in the oven, is enriched by a spicy dressing made with garlic, chili pepper and aromatic herbs. The new potatoes, cooked together with the chicken, absorb all the flavors of the dressing, becoming a delicious side dish. I often prepare it when I want a simple but tasty dish, which warms the heart and fills the house with aroma. A real comfort food!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 1.5 kg chicken thighs _thighs and drumsticks_
  • 800 g new potatoes
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 2 tsp chili pepper
  • 1 q.b. sage
  • 1 q.b. rosemary
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 q.b. fine salt

Preparation (5 steps)

Preparation of the dressing

Thermomix® Setting

Insert 3 cloves of garlic, a little sage and rosemary, fine salt and 2 teaspoons of chili pepper into the bowl. Add 30 ml of olive oil.

Blend the dressing

Blend the dressing to obtain a homogeneous aromatic sauce.

Marinating the chicken

Put 1.5 kg of chicken thighs in a spacious bowl, pour the prepared sauce over and mix with your hands, so as to flavor all the meat.

Preparation of the potatoes

Put 800 g of new potatoes in a bowl, season with olive oil, fine salt and a little chili pepper and mix well.

Baking in the oven

Arrange the chicken on a baking sheet with parchment paper on the bottom. Pour the potatoes into the pan together with the chicken and bake in a preheated static oven at 200 °C for 50 minutes, turning the food halfway through cooking.
