Description

This rustic chicken with vegetables and corn is a dish that warms the heart, perfect for autumn evenings. The preparation is simple and the Thermomix® makes everything even easier! I love it because it is a complete and tasty one-pot dish. The chicken is flavored with vegetables and spices, creating a delicious broth. Ideal for a family lunch or a dinner with friends. It can be prepared in advance and reheated when serving. A true comfort food!

Ingredients (17 ingredients)

  • Chicken
  • 200 ml White wine
  • 1 can Peas
  • 2 foglie Bay leaf
  • 1 piece Onions
  • 2 pezzi Tomatoes
  • 1 piece Carrots
  • 1 piece Hot red pepper
  • to taste Thyme
  • 1 costa Celery
  • Parsley
  • 10 grani Black pepper
  • Salt
  • 500 ml Meat broth
  • Potatoes
  • 1 pannocchia Corn on the cob
  • 2 cucchiai Raisins

Preparation of the vegetables

1 onion, 1 carrot and 1 stalk of celery in the bowl and chop for 3 Sec./Speed 5.

Sauté the vegetables

Thermomix® Setting

Add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and sauté for 3 Min./120°C/Speed 1.

Addition of the main ingredients

Add the pieces of chicken, 200 ml of white wine, 1 can of drained peas, 2 bay leaves, 2 tomatoes cut into pieces, 1 hot red pepper, a pinch of thyme, 10 black peppercorns, salt to taste and 500 ml of meat broth to the bowl. Mix well with the spatula.

Cooking the chicken

120 min/208°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 98 Reverse

Place the potatoes cut into pieces on top of the other ingredients in the bowl. Cook for 120 Min./98°C/Speed 1/Reverse.

Final addition and serving

Add 1 corn on the cob cut into pieces and 2 tablespoons of raisins. Gently mix with the spatula. Serve in deep plates with a piece of chicken, potatoes, corn and broth. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
