Description

This creamy tangerine curd cheese is a wonderfully refreshing dessert or a light breakfast, especially in the cold season. I like to make it when tangerines are in season, because that's when they taste the best! The combination of creamy curd cheese and fruity tangerine segments is simply unbeatable. With a touch of maple syrup, the whole thing gets a fine sweetness. The recipe is super quick to prepare and is perfect if you have little time. If you like, you can sprinkle some chopped almonds or nuts on top. A real treat!

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 500 g Curd cheese, skimmed level
  • 250 g Curd cheese, 40% fat content
  • 12 piece Tangerines, untreated
  • 5 tbsp Maple syrup

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare curd cheese mixture

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Put 500 g skimmed curd cheese and 250 g curd cheese (40% fat) into the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./level 3.

Add tangerine zest

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 3

Finely grate the peel of 4 tangerines. Add the zest and 1 tbsp maple syrup to the mixing bowl and stir in for 5 sec./level 3.

Prepare tangerine segments

Peel the remaining 8 tangerines and remove the white skin. Carefully cut the tangerine segments out of the segments.

Arrange and serve

Place the tangerine segments on the curd cheese mixture and pour over the remaining 4 tbsp maple syrup.
