  • 1 Stk Quiche dough
  • 1 Stk Onion
  • 2 Stk Garlic cloves
  • 400 g Leaf spinach - frozen
  • 1 EL Olive oil
  • 150 g Feta
  • 3 Stk Eggs - size M
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 50 g Grated cheese
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • nach Geschmack Nutmeg
  • 2 EL Pine nuts

Preparation (9 steps)

Preheat the oven and prepare the quiche dish

Preheat the oven to 200°C top and bottom heat. Grease a quiche dish (Ø 28 cm) with butter and place the quiche dough in it.

Chop onion and garlic

Put 1 peeled onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Add 2 garlic cloves and chop for 3 sec./speed 7.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add 1 tbsp olive oil to the onions and garlic in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Prepare the spinach

Add 400 g of frozen leaf spinach to the mixing bowl and heat for 5 min./100°C/Reverse speed speed 1. Then place the spinach in a sieve and squeeze well to remove excess water.

Cover the quiche

Spread the squeezed spinach, onions and garlic on the quiche dough. Crumble 150 g feta cheese over it.

Prepare the egg and sour cream mixture

Put 3 eggs (size M), 200 g sour cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg in the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./speed 3.

Complete the quiche

Pour the egg and sour cream mixture over the remaining ingredients in the quiche dish. Sprinkle 50 g of grated cheese (e.g. Emmentaler) over it.

Bake the quiche

Bake the spinach quiche on the lowest rack in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes.

Serve

Remove the finished quiche from the oven, let it cool briefly and serve with 2 tbsp of pine nuts.
