Description

This creamy pork strips with buttered spätzle, prepared in the Thermomix®, is a hearty main course with sliced pork, onions, cream, and fresh spätzle. Preparation takes about 45 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal as a quick and affordable family meal or for lovers of classic home cooking. The Thermomix® makes preparation particularly easy and time-saving.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 600 g Sliced pork
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 1 EL Butter
  • 1 EL Flour
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 1 TL Mustard
  • 1 TL Paprika powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 400 g Fresh spätzle
  • 1 EL Butter

Preparation (8 steps)

Sear the sliced pork

Pat the sliced pork dry and sear in batches in hot butter in a separate pan until browned. Remove and set aside.

Chop the onion

Place the onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Sauté the onion

Add 1 tbsp butter and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Sauté the flour

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/212°F/Speed 2 212°F

Stir in 1 tbsp flour and sauté briefly for 1 min./100°C/speed 2.

Prepare the sauce

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Speed 2 194°F

Deglaze with vegetable broth and cream. Stir in mustard and paprika powder, bring to a boil while stirring for 5 min./90°C/speed 2 and let simmer slightly until a creamy sauce forms.

Add meat and simmer

Return the meat and meat juices to the pan, mix well and simmer over low heat for 5-10 minutes.

Prepare the spätzle

Toss the spätzle in 1 tbsp butter in a separate pan until lightly browned.

Serve

Serve the spätzle with the creamy pork strips.
