Description

This recipe for classic Remoulade is quick and easy to prepare with the Thermomix®. The fresh herbs, pickles, and spices are finely chopped and mixed with mayonnaise and yogurt to create a creamy sauce. Ideal as a dip, with fish, or as a side dish for grilling. The preparation time is about 20 minutes.

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 4 Stück hard-boiled eggs
  • 100 g pickles
  • 1 Bund parsley
  • 1 Bund chives
  • 0.5 Bund chervil
  • 250 g mayonnaise
  • 100 g yogurt
  • 1 TL mustard
  • 1 TL lemon juice
  • 0.5 TL sugar
  • 0.5 TL salt
  • 1 Prise pepper
  • 1 Prise curry

Preparation (6 steps)

Boil eggs hard

Peel the 4 hard-boiled eggs and quarter them.

Chop pickles

Put 100g pickles in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Scrape down with the spatula.

Chop herbs

Thermomix® Setting

Put 1 bunch of parsley, 1 bunch of chives and 1/2 bunch of chervil in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Scrape down with the spatula.

Add eggs, mayonnaise and remaining ingredients

Add the quartered eggs, 250g mayonnaise, 100g yogurt, 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 pinch of pepper and 1 pinch of curry to the mixing bowl.

Mix remoulade

Mix all ingredients for 15 sec./reverse/speed 3.

Taste the remoulade and season with salt, pepper, lemon juice or curry if necessary.
