Description

This creamy basmati rice with chicken and curry is a comforting and flavorful dish, perfect for a family dinner or a quick lunch.   • 400 g Basmati rice
  • 5 piece Chicken fillets
  • 0.5 piece Onion
  • 0.5 Tasse(s) Poultry broth
  • 1 Brique(s) Liquid cream
  • 2 c. à soupe Curry
  • 2 c. à soupe Olive oil
  • 0.5 Bouquet(s) Parsley
  • Salt
  • Mill pepper

Preparation (7 steps)

Cooking the basmati rice

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/212°F/Speed 4 100

Pour 400 g of basmati rice into the cooking basket. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water is clear. Put 1 liter of water in the Thermomix bowl. Insert the cooking basket with the rice. Cook 15 Min./100°C/Stufe 4.

Draining the rice

Remove the cooking basket with the rice and drain the rice. Keep warm.

Preparing the chicken fillets

Cut 5 chicken fillets into medium-sized pieces. Fry the chicken pieces in a pan with a little oil until they are golden brown and cooked.

Preparing the curry sauce

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Put 0.5 onion in the Thermomix bowl and chop 3 Sek./Stufe 5. Add 2 tbsp of olive oil and cook 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Adding the broth and spices

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/212°F/Speed 2 100

Add 0.5 cup of poultry broth and cook 1 Min./100°C/Stufe 2.

Finalizing the sauce

Thermomix® Setting

Add 1 brick of liquid cream, 2 tbsp of curry and 0.5 bunch of chopped parsley. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook 2 Min./90°C/Stufe 2.

Assembly and service

Arrange the plates by placing a beautiful timbale of basmati rice in the center, and adding the chicken curry on top. Serve immediately.
