Description

This creamy rice with chicken and vegetables is a comforting and flavorful dish, perfect to enjoy any time of the year. The combination of tender chicken with bomba rice, fresh vegetables and a touch of white wine makes it an ideal option for a family meal or a special dinner. I prepare it often because it is very easy to make and always triumphs. Also, it can be adapted to everyone's tastes, adding other vegetables or spices. A complete and delicious dish that you will love!

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 250 g Chopped chicken
  • 400 g Bomba rice
  • 1 l Chicken stock
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 100 g Red pepper
  • 100 g Green pepper
  • 1 piece Ripe tomato
  • 5 g Choricero pepper pulp
  • 150 ml White wine
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare the chicken

Season the chicken pieces with salt and ground black pepper. Set aside.

Chop the garlic

Peel the garlic cloves and put them in the bowl. Chop 3 seconds/speed 7.

Sauté the garlic and peppers

Add a splash of extra virgin olive oil to the bowl. Sauté the garlic 3 minutes/120°C/speed 1. Add the red pepper and green pepper, cleaned and chopped into small dice. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté 5 minutes/120°C/speed 1.

Add the tomato and the choricero pepper pulp

Wash the tomato well, cut it in half and grate it. Add to the bowl along with the choricero pepper pulp. Stir and sauté 2 minutes/120°C/speed 1.

Incorporate the white wine and the rice

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add the white wine to the bowl and program 1 minute/Varoma/speed 1, without the beaker, so that the alcohol evaporates. Incorporate the rice and sauté 1 minute/120°C/speed 1.

Add the chicken and the stock

3 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add the chicken to the bowl along with 750 ml of chicken stock. Program 3 minutes/100°C/speed 1. Check the salt and adjust it if necessary.

Cook the rice

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/212°F/velocidad cuchara/giro a la izquierda 100 Reverse

Program 15 minutes/100°C/spoon speed/reverse rotation. If the rice dries out of stock, add the rest of the stock little by little.

Rest the rice

Pour the rice into a paella pan or bowl. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
