Description

This creamy rice with chicken and saffron is a comforting and flavorful dish, perfect for a family meal or a special celebration. Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 1 piece chicken in pieces
  • 350 gramos bomba rice
  • 1 piece medium onion
  • 1 trozo green and red pepper
  • 2 dientes garlics
  • 1 litro chicken broth
  • 4 hebras saffron or powder
  • 5 cucharadas soperas crushed tomato
  • 1 chorro oil
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation of the vegetables

Introduce the onion, the green and red pepper, and the garlic cloves in the Thermomix glass. Program 3 seconds at speed 5 to chop the vegetables.

Sauté of the vegetables

Add the oil to the Thermomix glass. Program 5 minutes, temperature 120°C and speed 1 to sauté the vegetables.

Incorporation of the tomato

Add the crushed tomato to the glass. Program 3 minutes, temperature 120°C and speed 1 to cook the tomato.

Cooking the rice

Add the bomba rice, the chicken broth, the saffron and the salt to the glass. Program 20 minutes, temperature 100°C, speed 1 and turn to the left.

Add the chicken

While the rice is cooking, fry the chicken in pieces in a pan with a little oil until golden brown. Once the rice is almost ready, add the fried chicken to the Thermomix glass. Program 5 minutes, temperature 100°C, speed 1 and turn to the left so that the chicken is integrated with the rice.

Rest and serve

Let the rice with chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the flavors to settle and the rice to be more creamy. Serve hot.
