Description

Chocolate cherry rolls from the Thermomix® are a delicious pastry with flour, margarine, sugar, eggs, white chocolate and sour cherries. The preparation of the cookies takes a total of 173 minutes, the pure working time is about 45 minutes. The recipe yields approximately 40 servings. Ideal as finger food or dessert, especially suitable for the Christmas season and winter occasions.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 TL Baking powder
  • 250 g Margarine
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 2 Stück Eggs
  • 200 g White chocolate
  • 150 g Sour cherries (dried)
  • 75 g White chocolate coating

Preparation (10 steps)

Mix flour and baking powder

10 sec/Speed 4

Add 500 g flour and 1 tsp baking powder to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 4. Then transfer.

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Add 250 g margarine, 150 g sugar and 2 eggs to the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec/speed 4. Add the flour-baking powder mixture and knead for 2 min/kneading stage to form a dough.

Shape and chill dough

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, form into rolls about 3 cm thick, wrap in cling film and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

Chop chocolate

Thermomix® Setting
8 sec/Speed 6

Place 200 g white chocolate in pieces in the mixing bowl and chop for 8 sec/speed 6. If necessary, push down with the spatula and repeat the process.

Mix chocolate and cherries

Remove the chopped chocolate from the mixing bowl and mix with 150 g dried sour cherries.

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 175 °C (convection oven: 155 °C).

Shape cookies

Cut the dough rolls into 1 cm wide slices. Place 1 tsp of chocolate-cherry mixture on each slice of dough and roll into the dough. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Bake cookies

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the cookies for about 18 minutes. Then let cool.

Melt chocolate coating

4 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Place 75 g white chocolate coating in pieces in the mixing bowl and melt for 4 min/50°C/speed 2.

Decorate cookies

Drizzle the melted chocolate coating over the cooled chocolate cherry rolls and let set.
